Receiving Donations for the Foundation Auction

We're starting to receive donations for the 2009 AASV Foundation Auction to be held during the annual meeting in Dallas, TX on March 9th.

Again this year, Dr. Rod Johnson (rodney.johnson@avmaplit.com) and his wife Jean have been so kind as to donate an all-inclusive 3 night, 2 day professionally-guided fishing trip to the Alexandria area of Minnesota. The trip includes guides, bait, tackle, boats and "creature comforts." The winning bidders will be the guest of Rod and Jean at their log home on the lake and Jean's even agreed to serve as private chef again.

DeWaay Capital Management has again donated a pair of Swarovski 10 x 42 EL binoculars, long known as the "Best of the Best" for image quality. Rumor (as yet unconfirmed) has it that these are the binoculars that Sarah Palin uses to keep an eye on the Russians from her house! They feature 10x magnification with large 42mm objective lenses, new "easy to clean" external coatings, and wide-angle eyepieces for an extra large field of view.

To view these and other donated items, please visit the Foundation's Auction Listings on the website. We still need your donations and contributions. If you'd like to donate an item or make a financial contribution to buy an item for the auction, please visit the auction page and complete a donation form. Submit the form to the AASV office(aasv@aasv.org) no later than December 5.
