Webb Receives Lloyd Tate Award
September 18, 2013 —
Dr Patrick Webb, director of swine health programs at the National Pork Board, recently received the 2013 Lloyd Tate Award for Innovation from Allflex, the primary manufacturer of animal identification/production tags in the country. The award is the company’s highest corporate award, recognizing excellence and innovation in animal identification. Dr Webb’s award is for leadership – “to an industry leader that has contributed greatly to the advancement of animal identification”. It is unusual for this award to go to someone outside of the Allflex company and it is a recognition of the vision, collaboration, leadership and hard work that Dr Webb’s contributed to the national effort of effective animal identification. Please join us in congratulating Patrick for this great achievement!
