A field-based Swine Technical Services position to be located in the Midwestern part of the United States (Iowa, Missouri). The candidate must have a DVM/VMD and a minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary medicine focusing on modern swine production. There is an expectation of 50-60 percent travel to designated internal and external meetings, field investigations and assigned swine business projects. The candidate will work with external and internal customers, veterinarians, producers, universities and diagnostic laboratories.

Education:

• DVM

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Services role or commensurate type of veterinary experience focusing on swine production

• Must have understanding and experience of modern swine production systems

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good computer skills

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills

• Must have leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) and or board certification.
