Newport Laboratories has an immediate opening for a Technical Services Veterinarian. The position will join Newport’s Swine Business Unit (SBU) team, consisting of DVMs and Research and Development Scientists, and will work in collaboration with sales, marketing and regulatory affairs professionals. The position will work with an emphasis on swine. The ideal applicant will have a DVM and a minimum of 5 years of veterinary practice or industry experience. Applicants must be self-driven, a critical thinker, disciplined, possess an outgoing personality and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Position will reside in Worthington, MN or approved location, with some travel required. This position offers a competitive salary and full benefit package. Responsibilities will include:

1. Developing an effective working relationship with clients, evaluate treatment and respond to veterinary and technical questions
2. Reporting of sales and technical support activities
3. Review and reporting of diagnostic results
4. Support our clients with our diagnostic capabilities, discussing emerging diseases, and Custom Made Vaccine Health programs.
5. Sales and Marketing Field support as well as traveling with field sales personnel
6. Frequent presentations to veterinarians and producer groups
