The Harrisvaccines, Inc. d/b/a Sirrah Bios Clinical Development Veterinarian coordinates and assists with animal trials at company facilities and at external research sites. Please see job description below or at www.harrisvaccines.com.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage vaccine/challenge efficacy studies for USDA Licensing

• Manage animal care staff and technicians

• Perform routine animal handling as part of conducting research trials

• Work closely with IACUC and IBC to maintain research protocol approvals

• Prepare and review regulatory filings to support product registration process in US and abroad

• Provide technical support to sales & marketing staff, including informational meetings with customers & other stakeholders

• Assist the Management Team/Customer in the resolution of reported adverse events

• Support extramural grant-funded projects and contract activities

• Remain current on scientific literature and techniques

• Attend scientific meetings

• All other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• DVM required

• MS and/or PhD degree preferred

• Prior experience managing/working in animal research facilities preferred but not required

• Proven technical writing ability

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required

Organizational Relationships

• Reports to Head of Research and Head of Manufacturing and Regulatory Affairs
