The National Pork Board Science and Technology Department is hosting an open meeting to discuss the development of a comprehensive research project to develop selection procedures to lower the effects and persistence of infection by the PRRS virus in pigs. Anyone interested in the genetic aspects of the PRRS virus and specifically resistance to PRRS in the pig is invited to attend.
