AASV Spouse and Family Activities
We are pleased to welcome spouses and families of AASV members to Denver!
Please feel free to attend the company-sponsored social events with your AASV meeting attendee, including the PIC 50th Anniversary Celebration (Saturday, 5:00 - 7:00 PM), the Pfizer Animal Health Welcome Reception (Sunday, 6:30-8:30pm), and the Merck Animal Health Student Reception (Sunday, 8:30 - 11:00pm). You may also purchase tickets for Monday night's AASV Awards Reception (co-sponsored by Elanco) - available on the registration form or at the meeting.
The websites Visit Denver and Colorado Tourism will help you explore the attractions and activities available in the area. Our meeting hotel, the Hyatt Regency Denver, is located in downtown Denver. You'll find many attractions, including museums, historical sites, and the U.S. Mint, located nearby.

For many, Sunday is a day to gather with family and friends for spiritual nourishment and encouragement in faith. So bring your family and join your AASV friends for a devotion, music, and fellowship at the AASV Praise Breakfast! This year, we will enjoy a presentation from a special guest: Dr. Keith Flanagan, Christian Veterinary Mission - Haiti. He will share how God is at work in this country as well as recent experiences with Teschovirus. Then, join in musical worship led by the members of the praise and worship band: Drs. Monte Fuhrman, Harold Tilstra, and Tom Wetzell. Your free-will offering, along with suppport from our sponsors, will defray the cost of the breakfast. The devotion will conclude by 8:00 AM, but feel free to stay and visit with Dr. Flanagan and other attendees afterwards. All AASV meeting attendees and their families are welcome!

Spouse Tour: Aquarium Adventure & Luncheon
Monday, March 12
9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Meet in the Hyatt Regency Lobby (first level) by 9:15 AM for departure
Fee: $75 per person
Explore one of Denver's most popular attractions, the Downtown Aquarium. With over a million gallons of underwater exhibits, the aquarium houses more than 500 species of animals. As you learn about the many aquatic ecosystems found around the world, you'll marvel at the infinite variety and beauty of creatures on display: everything from angelfish and barracuda to stingrays, zebra sharks, and more!
Tour at your own pace, and then join the rest of the AASV attendees in the aquarium restaurant for a delicious buffet luncheon prepared especially for our group. While you dine, you'll be treated to a floor-to-ceiling view of the 50,000-gallon centerpiece aquarium swimming with more than 100 species of colorful tropical fish.
The registration fee includes transportation, aquarium admission, self-guided tour, buffet luncheon, and applicable taxes and service fees. Please note; space is limited; pre-registration is required!

If the vet in the family has already registered for the conference, use the "No charge" option under "Registration" and then select the Aquarium Adventure by entering the number of participants and their names, then proceed to payment.
