AASV Technical Tables Exhibit

Register: Online with credit card payment, or Printed form to mail with a check.

Update: We still have a few tables available! Although our program has been printed, we can still include your company name and details in the mobile conference app as well as on the AASV website.

The "Tech Tables" technical service promotion at the American Association of Swine Veterinarians Annual Meeting offers a premier opportunity for commercial technical representatives to exchange information and interact with swine veterinarians from around the world.

The 2019 AASV Annual Meeting will be held March 9-12 at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, with the exhibit taking place on Monday and Tuesday, March 11 and 12. We expect 1200+ attendees, including more than 700 swine veterinarians and 100+ veterinary students. Typically, 20-25% of AASV meeting attendees are from outside the United States, with registrants from as many as 30 countries. The primary function of the meeting is to provide continuing education to swine veterinarians. Non-veterinary attendance is restricted to AASV Affiliate Members, veterinary students, invited speakers, and a limited number of Technical Table representatives as described below.

In 2018, 101 companies and organizations participated in the AASV Technical Tables display. Click here for the 2019 exhibitor roster. Exhibitors include pharmaceutical and biological companies, equipment manufacturers, genetics and seedstock suppliers, nutritional and feed ingredient companies, technology systems providers, and industry publications.

The 2019 Technical Tables exhibit will take place according to the following schedule:

  • Set up
    • Monday, March 11     7:00 am - 9:00 am
  • Exhibit open
    • Monday, March 11    9:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • Tuesday, March 12    8:00 am - 12:00 noon

Each participating company is provided with a 6-foot, draped table from which to distribute information and visit with the meeting attendees. As in the past, material presented on the table is limited to scientific, educational information that will best inform swine veterinarians about each company's products and services. Exhibitors are welcome to use their own table drape. Overhead or vertical banners, booth and tabletop displays, and large monitors are not permitted, nor is selling of product. Items on the table should be no more than 18" high. This modest approach to the commercial trade show provides a level playing field for all participants and allows the event to concentrate on education and information, in keeping with the nature of the meeting.

REGISTRATION
Register online here. Prefer to mail a check? Enclose this form with your payment. The Tech Table registration fee of $2400 per table includes the draped table and chairs as well as meeting registration for up to 3 company representatives named on the application. Registration must be completed by October 1, 2018 to ensure the listing of your company name in the printed program booklet. Exhibiting companies will also be listed and linked on the AASV Annual Meeting website, and will be invited to supply a company logo and 50-word description for the conference mobile app.

TABLE ASSIGNMENTS
Preferential table sites are reserved for AASV e-Letter sponsors and members of the JSHAP Industry Support Council. A drawing is conducted to assign the remaining tables on an equitable basis.

REPRESENTATIVES
The 3 Tech Table registrants listed on the exhibit registration form are welcome to attend any of the scientific sessions beginning Sunday noon through Tuesday, and will receive tickets for Monday's luncheon and evening awards reception and Tuesday's breakfast. In addition, Technical Table representatives may register for the pre-conference seminars on Saturday and Sunday by paying the seminar registration fee(s).

In addition to the three representatives included on the exhibit application, up to three more representatives may also register for the meeting as "Additional Tech Table Representatives" (at the individual non-member rate - these registrations must be entered after individual registration opens in late December). Any additional representatives beyond these six total are eligible to register ONLY if they meet the usual attendance criteria (i.e., must be a veterinarian, veterinary student, AASV Affiliate Member, or invited speaker).

The name badges, meal tickets, and proceedings for your representatives will be available for pickup (under their individual names) at the AASV registration desk in the conference hotel.

SHIPPING
All materials for the exhibit must be shipped through Tradeshow Displays International, to arrive no later than Wednesday, March 6. Review the Shipping Instructions, submit the Payment Form, and label boxes with the Shipping Label addressed as follows:

SERVICES
Given the low-key nature of the exhibit, most exhibitors do NOT require electricity or dedicated Internet service, and they are not provided. Should you require the use of electricity or dedicated Internet service, you will need to contract directly with PSAV at the Buena Vista Palace to arrange for service at your table.

ATTENDEE LIST
AASV Board policy does not allow the release of AASV attendee names or their contact information. In the past few years, many of our exhibitors have received unsolicited offers to purchase a list of AASV Annual Meeting attendees. These offers are scams.
