The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) Swine Health Management Diplomates work in private practice and production, as well as industry and academia. They have the expertise to serve as consultants for the swine industry and are skilled in the art and science of medicine for the individual animal in addition to herd health, production, and economics.

The deadline for the 2020 ABVP Swine Health Management entrance exam is midnight on January 15th. To register, go to abvp.com and select the "Member Login," then "Create an Account." Be sure to select the "Complete Exam Application." The entrance exam is given annually during the American Association of Swine Veterinarians meeting.
