AASV mourns loss of Dr. Bernie Curran

The AASV sadly reports the loss of Bernard J. "Bernie" Curran, DVM, who passed away Monday, June 18, 2007, at his home. Dr. Curran was a member of the AASV since receiving his DVM degree from Iowa State University in 1974, and served as president of the association in 1986. He received the AASV Meritorious Service Award in 1999, and was recognized as the 2007 Swine Practitioner of the Year at the association's recent annual meeting in Orlando.
