Position announcement

Assistant/Associate Professor of Swine Production Medicine. The College of Veterinary Medicine, Mississippi State University, invites applications for a tenure track or clinical track faculty position in swine production medicine. Qualications include CVM degree and either post-DVM training in swine production medicine or considerable practice or industrial experience in this area. The successful candidate should be capable in production records analysis, practical epidemiological skills, and demonstrate a willingness to work with large-scale connement operators. The candidate will be expected to participate in teaching veterinary students and mentoring graduate students seeking a masters degree in Production Medicine. Participation in the teaching and research missions of the College of Veterinary Medicine also will be required; these assignments are negotiable depending upon the candidate's professional goals. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualications. Applications will be accepted until the position is lled.
