About the CD-ROM
The Swine Information CD-ROM is a compendium of 5495
papers (PDF format) from 47
swine veterinary conferences*, collected and published annually by the AASV.
It is available for purchase only by members and Journal of Swine Health
and Production subscribers, in accordance with our agreements with the organizations
from which we draw content. Additionally, 475
articles from the AASV's Journal of Swine Health and Production and
Dr. Barb Straw's compiled indexes to proceedings are part of this resource.
Price: $75.00 (US$). The Swine Information CD ROM is available only to current
AASV members and JSHAP subscribers. An
order form is online here (login required). You may also order the CD
when you renew or begin your membership.
Institutional subscribers may contact the AASV
office for ordering information.
Online access
The content available has grown well beyond the size of a single CD. We have
begun to omit older content from the physical CD
and are placing all the content online. Access to the online content will include everything "from the beginning" up to and including the content on the most recent physical CD-ROM you have purchased. Your purchase is typically recorded
and online
access
established
in about
a week.
Note that this access
is tied to your membership
record; it is not possible to continue to provide access to lapsed
members.
The full text of the articles is searchable as part of the general site
search function available from the top of every page. You may restrict this
search
to include only the Swine Information CD-ROM (Proceedings).

Each edition's CD includes the
most recent papers and as much older content as will reasonably fit. Additionally,
so long as your membership or JSHAP subscription remains current, your purchase
of the CD grants you online access to that CD edition's content, including
older content no longer available on the physical CD (but not content from
