AASV Summer Conference

"Advanced Techniques for Swine Veterinarians"

This AASV Summer Conference is designed especially for AASV members who wish to expand their knowledge and skills to become more proficient swine practitioners. Session topics include information technology, ventilation, nutrition, behavior, slaughter checks, diagnostic case studies, and facility utilization and conversion. Presentations emphasize hands-on learning and case study applications. The conference provides 14.5 clock hours of veterinary continuing education in a combination of lecture and laboratory settings. Registration is limited to AASV members and will be capped at 80 veterinarians and 40 veterinary students to assure a quality learning experience for all participants.

Educational sessions will be conducted at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. The evening practice tips dinner on Wednesday will be held at the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center.

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop computer to gain the most benefit from the program sessions.
